Founded in 1952 by our parent company, District Petroleum Products Inc., we were Sandusky's first Goodyear store! Our operations began on Milan Road in Sandusky but was moved in the late 1950's to our current location at 319 W. Perkins Ave. in Sandusky, Ohio. Over the years we have seen sweeping changes in the industry and have learned what it takes to remain strong even in tough economic times by providing exceptional service at fair prices and putting the needs of our customers first! In 2018 DTC was purchased by Bob Wagner who is the current owner. Bob began his career in 1989 as the assistant manager, then moved up to manager. Now as the owner Bob continues to be hands on in the business.

We have grown over the years to be a multi-branded company. Goodyear and its associate brands Dunlop , Cooper and Kelly tires still remain as a large part of our focus along with most major brands. Names like Hercules, Continental, General, Michelin, Firestone, BF Goodrich, and Uniroyal are some of the other brands we offer. We have a warehouse on the premises and carry the largest inventory in the area allowing us to serve our customers on a "same day" basis.

In the early 1960's District Tire Center became a full service automotive repair facility. Anything you may need from a routine oil change to major mechanical repairs we offer quick, honest, and reliable service. Our technecians are well trained and have combined experience of over 80 years!
